Funky Fossil Duck cards

I challenged myself to make different three cards featuring a lovely duck in an umbrella stamp from Funky Fossil's Rainy Day Critters set.  Three different colour schemes, all pretty and Spring like just like the weather here today.

Hello Spring

With Love

uses an inky stencilled monoprint background with a fireworks stencil and shaded lilac and fired brick DOs with lots of water spritzing to tone down the colours.  Added a die cut doodle frame, paper pieced with some of the half circles coloured with alcohol markers as is the main image which has been fussy cut.  A little snail companion has made an appearance too.  Sentiment heat embossed on vellum.

Special Birthday Wishes

has patterned paper embossed with white and silver super sparkle EP using one element from a scenic borders stencil.  Stamped focal image coloured with alcohol markers and die cut with a stitched circle.  I stamped the little cute companion snail onto the largest die cut cloud and the sentiment words onto the smaller clouds.  All the die cuts were sponged lightly with tumbled glass DI around the edges.

Hello Spring

uses part of an inky stencilled monoprint for the background that I did some time ago using sunflower and basket weave stencils with yellow/orange DOs and maybe some brushos.  Main image has been fussy cut, coloured with alcohol markers, shaped and adhered with thin foam pads and glue.  Used parts of a die cut tree to edge the panel for a lacy border adding some flowers made from the off cuts, a full tree and the companion snail.  Sentiment heat embossed on vellum.
