Hello Dancers,
You are invited to the STRIPES NIGHT Dance Party this Thursday night November 16th at Eastlake Shores, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista. There'll be prizes for best striped attire, lots of dancing, fun, food and beverages. It's a "private party" and this is your invitation. Dancers are welcome to bring a dish of food to share. DJ Bing Villafuerte returns, and he will play for line dancing 6pm-7pm, and mixed ballroom & line dances until 10pm.
DIRECTIONS: Take H Street east to Eastlake Drive. Go right one block, then turn right onto Lakeshore Drive. Then, turn left immediately into the parking lot of 2050 Lakeshore Drive. The Eastlake Shores Clubhouse is behind the gated fence.
Last Thursday (November 9th) at Eastlake, Birthday Party Night, 30 happy dancers enjoyed visiting DJ Nickie Bascos's great music, as you can see in the 5 photos below. THURSDAY NOVEMBER 9, 2017, BIRTHDAY DANCE PARTY at Eastlake:
LINE DANCING was non-stop from 6 to 7pm, and off & on the rest of the night. Above, dancing to long-time favorite "La Ultima Noche", it was Belinda, Delia, Edith and Connie in the front line.
FOOD LINE. Above, Nedy prepared to give a blessing for the food. Here's a "Thank You", and some credits. Nick & Eden brought baby back spare ribs adobo, clam chowder, fried rice and corn. Geraldine brought fried sweet potatoes. Beth brought fruits. Mel (not the DJ, but the other Mel) brought seaweed salad. Nedy brought sotanghong. Suzanne brought delicious turkey chili. Karina brought buko pandan salad. Neriza brought crispy pata. Cindy brought beautiful little cheesecakes. And, there was more.
BALLROOM DANCING. We guys preferred the ballroom dances. Above, DJ Nickie and Aurea were dancing to the tango "Sognando Angelica".
TANGO. Above, Chito and Cindy also danced to the tango "Sognando Angelica".
HAPPY BIRTHDAY. Birthday celebrants Beth, Neriza, Nedy, and Myrna were joined by Eden to get honored with the song "Happy Birthday".

It's a fun dance party most every Thursday night with line dances and ballroom dances like swing including Manila Swing (also known as 4-count hustle or Philippine swing or Filipino swing), cha cha, night club 2-step, rumba and much much more.

P.S. Other Notes: (1) These are really fun ballroom and line dance parties. This is Thursday night dancing in San Diego. While the dancing and music are non-stop, there are dancers who are happy to give free dance one-on-one lessons during the dances, in case you don't know the steps of a particular dance.
